How to Pick the Right Line Marker and Paint

Make it easier to pick the right line marker and paints for your School or Club.

HART Sport has a range of Fountain Line Markers and Fountain Liquid Paints to complete line marking jobs big and small, for sporting fields, athletics days, and general marking needs.

View our guides to help pick the right Line Marker and paint products based on the conditions and use of your line marking. Our quick comparison Paint guide helps show the recommended dilution rates and benefits of each Paint type to help find the right paint for you.

Fountain has a variety of liquid paints for different jobs including the Xtreme, the Ultra and the Eco. The Xtreme is a higher concentrate and allows for a higher dilution rate so that the 10L pale will last longer. A key advantage of the Xtreme is that it can paint on wet surfaces so regardless of conditions you can complete the job. The Ultra is a durable and crisp finishing paint that comes in blue, green, red, and yellow as well as black and white. The Eco is a long lasting storage paint that is eco-friendly as it is VOC, APEO and solvent free. The Eco comes in white, black, blue, red and yellow. See the paint guide below for all the benefits of the Fountain paints.

The Fountain Clubline marker is ideal for smaller marking jobs and can fold for easy storage. The Clubline holds 16 litres of marking fluid and has variable line widths to suit your marking needs. Equip with the Fast Clean System for quick and easy cleaning, simply plug in your hose and the marker is cleaned in seconds. The heavy duty pump included makes for non-clogging and makes the Clubline the right choice for line marking jobs on single ovals and small fields.

The Fountain Proline V4 Liquid marker is a premium option suitable for marking multiple fields. It produces brighter lines and includes variable line width and position mechanism. The V4 marker also has a Quick Mix System and a removable 30 litre container to eliminate mess and difficulty of mixing and changing paints. The Fast Clean system makes cleaning fast and easy, and the super heavy duty pump allows for non-clogging up to 2,000 hours. With a built-in utility box for pegs, accessories and drinks the Fountain Proline V4 Liquid marker is a high quality field marker for clubs and schools with multiple fields and tracks to mark.

The Fountain Athletic Boom is a marking accessory that fits to the Proline V4 in under 30 seconds, and allows for the spraying of one, two, or three parallel lines at the same time. Lanes and line widths can be adjusted, making the boom an ideal line accessory for athletics day marking.
