APPEC 2017 attracted more than 330 PE Teachers from across Asia to develop their professional skills and to network at the very impressive Hong Kong International School last weekend. Delegates from 30 countries got to enjoy a variety of valuable teachings for physical education and participate in many great physical activities themselves.
HART was one of around a dozen exhibitors showcasing their products & services in a relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere. The HART stand attracted most delegates where many took up the HART Frisbee Catcher Challenge. Whilst there was some collateral damage to adjacent displays the Frisbees were generally on target and after 2 days of fierce competition a world record 13 ‘baskets’ in 10 seconds finished in a tie! After a brief time out to regain composure and applying some sports psychology skills learnt in one of the conference modules - both combatants entered the arena one last time. The finalists performed admirably with Lucas Rank representing the American International School in Dhaka emerging victorious in the sudden death playoff. After several victory laps of the cafeteria Lucas returned to Bangladesh as reigning champion with his (excess baggage) prize haul.
Notwithstanding the fun and frivolity, the reception HART received from both organisers and delegates was overwhelming. Existing customers were championing the quality & convenience of HART; whilst prospective customers were keen to learn why HART is emerging as a popular choice for premium PE, Sport, Fitness & Active Play Equipment with International Schools throughout Asia.
We thank the teachers & organisers for making us feel so welcome at APPEC 2017 and look very much forward to APPEC 2018.
