The HART Tackle Tech® Mat is a multi-purpose mat which helps improve tackling technique and safety. It has four unique design features which help provide a safer training environment for junior players:
- Printed left/right shoulder indicators for correct angle of entry into the tackle – teaching correct head position is important for preventing concussions
- Tackle Bag cut-out – players need to ‘take the peg out of the hole’ by starting low and driving up with a strong arm grip
- Landing Zone – 150mm thick high-density foam gives players confidence and safety
- Roll-Out Zone – teaches players to roll out of the tackle area quickly to avoid injury and re-join play as quickly as possible
